Promoting Ocean Pollution Awareness
Catch of the Day (COD) is a mobile fishing game that educates younger individuals about endangered fish and sustainable practices. COD aims to spread awareness about ocean pollution in a fun and interactive way. This project was created within 24 hours during my first hackathon, QWER Hacks 2024 at UCLA.

PROBLEM
A quarter of freshwater fish are at risk of becoming extinct.
Plastic pollution affects both ocean and human health. Unfortunately, 8-10 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean each year.
SOLUTION OVERVIEW
Fun & educational game on ocean pollution, endangered fish, & sustainability!
In order to reduce ocean pollution and the number of fish endangerment, we decided to design a fun and interactive fishing game that is educational and perfect to play to pass by time.
